Photographic QR

Stronger markings for scanning, with the photograph still across the whole field. These twelve new defaults pass both decoders in all 20 tested digital conditions, including gallery sizes, blur and perspective. Phone confirmation is still pending.

For scanning, choose Open large QR. The viewer uses whole pixels per QR module and keeps the complete white margin visible.

The earlier tiny-dot images were reported unreliable when scanned. They are preserved under Earlier tiny dots, rather than presented as the default.

Every code opens https://jdt.engineering. Required structures remain full-size, with no interior alignment grid. The new code matrices and sampled centers match independent QR reconstruction exactly. The smooth photographic renderings use stronger tonal contrast, larger squares or larger circles; the tiny-dot style remains separate. Digital decoder results are evidence for the tested images, not a guarantee for every camera. SVG exports embed the exact PNG. Source images were generated with the built-in image-generation tool.
